Book a visit
Request an appointment
A short form goes straight to the office. We will call back the same business day to find a time that works.
How appointments work
Most first visits are scheduled within five working days. Urgent cases, particularly where a sale is at risk or a wall has moved suddenly, are usually fitted in sooner. We hold a small number of slots each week for short-notice work.
What is included
A senior surveyor or engineer attends the property for around an hour. They walk every elevation, photograph any cracks or movement, check internal symptoms, and review the drainage layout where relevant. You will get a verbal outline before they leave, and a written summary within two working days.
What to have ready
Access to all rooms with visible cracks, and to the back garden if there is one. Photos of any movement you have noticed, especially older photos that show how cracks have changed. The name of your insurer if a claim is in mind. Drawings or homebuyer reports if you have them.
What it costs
An initial outline visit and verbal feedback is free. A formal chartered engineer report, where one is needed, is quoted up front before any survey work begins. Most domestic reports sit between £450 and £750 plus VAT depending on scope.
